Powered by sdMPLS®: an offer your customers will ask for
sdMPLS is delivered by local integrator and operator partners, under their own brand, with the Powered by sdMPLS label. The awareness work carried out with CIOs and telecom consultancies is what creates demand for your offer.
The “sdMPLS inside” programme
You sell under your brand; the label says what is inside
Like an “inside” label, sdMPLS is not sold directly to businesses: it is built into our partners' multi-site network offers. You keep the customer relationship, your brand and your offer; the Powered by sdMPLS label tells your customers and the telecom consultancies (AMO) that your network is built on a dedicated, controllable VRB, on Flex.eu's SDO core network.
And you can operate the VRB on your customers' behalf: running the backbone becomes a service you sell.
Provisional label; the final version will be delivered with the brand guidelines.
What the programme brings
Five components
The Powered by sdMPLS label
The logo to display on your website and sales documents, with its usage rules. It links your offer to the awareness built around the technology.
The co-marketing kit
Co-brandable emails, LinkedIn posts and slides, battle cards (vs MPLS, vs SD-WAN, vs cloud-native), pitch decks by sector. Ready to customise with your brand.
Co-branded customer stories
Every successful deployment can become a customer story published under both your brands, with the end customer's agreement.
Joint events
Co-hosted webinars, presence at channel trade shows, customer breakfast briefings organised with you.
Technical support
Training your teams on the VRB, pre-sales support, demonstrations at your customers' premises.
Label usage rules
How to use “Powered by sdMPLS”
Summary of the usage rules. The full document will be delivered with the final brand guidelines.
Do
- Display the label as supplied (colours, proportions, light or dark version), without redrawing it.
- Write “sdMPLS®” with the ® at the first occurrence in each document.
- Talk about the technology: “multi-site network powered by sdMPLS technology”, “an sdMPLS solution”.
- Name the product the customer controls: “your VRB”, “control your backbone with the VRB”.
- Mention Flex.eu as designer and operator of the core network where the context calls for it (press, invitations to tender).
Don't
- Do not present sdMPLS as your own brand or technology, nor combine it with your logo into a single mark.
- Do not use sdMPLS, SDO and VRB as synonyms: sdMPLS is the technology, SDO the architecture concept, VRB the product.
- Do not write “dedicated infrastructure” without specifying “dedicated VRB”: the core network is shared and segmented by VXLAN.
- Do not promise “MPLS-equivalent” service guarantees: talk about control of the core and backbone performance, and stick to the commitments of the contract.
- Do not publish a performance figure without its source, nor a quantified comparison with other routers before the public benchmark is released.
